Banga Young Volunteers Association In 2022, at the height of the pandemic, a small group of youth in Banga, Aklan came together with one goal: to help. Thus, BYVA was born. What began as a barangay-based initiative for relief drives and local outreach quickly became a symbol of youth-led hope and community action.
Aklan Young Volunteers Association As the circle of impact grew, so did the need to serve beyond one town. BYVA became AYVA, uniting young volunteers across the province. AYVA marked a time of bold expansion—mobilizing Aklanon youth for civic initiatives, disaster response, and inclusive development at a provincial scale.
Future Generations Accelerator To address deeper challenges with more sustainable solutions, AYVA transitioned into FGA, placing a stronger focus on disaster resilience, social innovation, and youth leadership. FGA served as a platform to train, empower, and activate the next generation of changemakers who will shape a more resilient future.
Today, we move as MOVERS—a dynamic and inclusive youth organization committed to building just, empowered, and resilient communities. The name reflects not just who we are, but what we do: create movement through service, empowerment, and solidarity. From local roots to national reach, we carry the same mission forward—with bigger dreams and stronger impact.
